A FEW WORDS ABOUT THIS WEBSITE:

Part 1: DAVID RAPOPORT BIO:

David is a self-promoting photographer, artist, video artist, and musician,

who has been creating photo-documentary, digital art, music, and portraits on his own, since 1978:

I seek to go beyond what is known about visual information, into some unknown space or

other knowledge of what is visible. I want to emphasize imagination, soul, identity, excellence.

The articulation of what this is: is implemented visually, and with the spoken word.

Part 2: DICTIONARY DEFINITION of my ARTWORK:

i) Visual communication utilizing skill,
creativity, direction, and reinvention
(of one's own ideas).

ii) Fine art: created with multiple: a) materials, b) medias, c) mediums, and d) genres.

iii) Creating the new, from nothing, or no thoughts.

iv) A collection of imperfect images has the potential to appear: active and dynamic.

v) Photos and art can be considered non-photos and non-art.
Undefined can have the same meaning as defined.

vi) Good art is hardly ever literal.

vii) What is more valuable: the art object, or the information that it contains?

viii) It is important to maintain the purity of what is being presented.

ix) Art that exhibits spirituality, truth, joy, light, etc., has more value for me.

These are not needed any more. At one time, they were useful.

The information in most mainstream media repeats itself, over and over again.

I think that the limitations for most anything tangible are:

The genres, mediums, and the technology that makes them.

Whatever we learned from past experiences, takes us to right now.

It has the potential to be all new, and it can guide us into the future.

Learning from our past mistakes:

Enables us to have lives that are full of useful, wonderful, and enjoyable things.

I want my art to have meaning, since I put all of my feelings into it.
